This is a fascinating perspective that I hadn't come across before. I think the lessons I'd draw from it are that not all fights are glorious, not everything that lurks in the dark is a monster, and that (as you say) even if it is, it doesn't need or deserve to be slain. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Thanks, Theo. I'm always interested in seeing if there's another perspective, and I'm surprised so many people get stuck on the idea of the Minotaur as a monster. So I wanted to step into Asterion's world to see him as the hero. Not all monsters can be good guys, but then I don't think he's actually a monster.
